Welcome to BarknBoard, where tails wag, toys squeak, and naps are taken very seriously. To keep everything running smoothly (and safely!), here are our house rules. Think of them as the “sit” and “stay” commands for humans.

Health and Safety 🩺

For the health and safety of every dog in our care, we require proof of full vaccination — including Kennel Cough

Drop off & Collections ⏰

We kindly ask that pick-up and drop-off times be respected. This isn’t about convenience for us – it’s about keeping a calm, predictable environment and reducing stress for the dogs in our care.

Playtime & Doggy Buddies 🐶

Unless you say “no thanks,” your pet will get to hang out with other friendly four-legged guests. We have spacious indoor and outdoor runs, so the weather cannot stop the fun.

Sniffles & Sick Days 🩺

If your dog feels ruff (sorry, couldn’t resist), we’ll make sure they get the care they need. That might mean a quick trip to the vet, giving medicine, or extra cuddles on demand.
By booking with us, you also agree to allow us to share information with your veterinarian if necessary.

Our Promise (and Reality Check) 🐾

At BarknBoard, we take our duty of care very seriously, and every effort is made to ensure your dog’s safety, comfort, and well-being. Despite this, owners acknowledge that BarknBoard and its staff cannot be held liable for unforeseen incidents such as illness, injury, or loss.

Fleas & Bad Hair Days 🐜

Unfortunately, we cannot allow any dogs with fleas. We offer a professional wash and dry service at an extra cost if requested.

Blankies & Toys 🧸

Bringing a favourite blanket or toy? Great idea! Just remember, we can’t promise they’ll come back in one piece. Sometimes toys mysteriously “explode,” and blankets can turn into chew rags. Consider it part of the adventure.

Strike a Pose! 📸

We love showing off our happy guests. By boarding with us, you’re giving us a “pup-arazzi pass” to share your dog’s glamour shots on our website and socials. Don’t worry — only their best side makes the cut.

Your Dog’s Personality & Comfort 🐾

Every dog has their own unique personality. Please let us know how your dog interacts with other dogs and people so we can make their stay as comfortable as possible.

Neutering ✂️

To help us manage safe play and socialisation, please let us know whether your dog is neutered or spayed.

By booking with BarknBoard or leaving your dog with us, you’re saying the info you’ve given is true and you’re on board with all of the above. This covers you, your family, your friends, or anyone else who might be picking up or dropping off your pet. Now let’s get that tail wagging and that tongue lolling — it’s playtime! 🎾✨
